Controls Solids or Odors and H2S Gases
Farm Odor Boss contains natural saponins extracted from plants.
Manure solids are liquefied more rapidly and production of malodors is reduced which results in easier handling of manure and less in-barn odors.
Farm Odor Boss stimulates the development of complete active bacterial cultures. It acts by increasing the cell wall permeability of micro-organisms. This aids in the diffusion of more water, nutrients, and natural digestive enzymes through their cell walls naturally.
Controls Odors and H2S Gases
Farm Odor Boss controls odors in two ways, and both complement each other. Odor control is achieved through a more complete natural digestion of organic waste. This is aided further by the organic compounds found in Farm Odor Boss preventing odorous gases from escaping by keeping them dissolved in the waste material. Scientific research has shown that ammonia, hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide are detrimental to hogs, cattle and poultry, even at relatively low levels.
The importance of this is obvious. Very good control of odors may be achieved when Farm Odor Boss is applied as suggested for faster breakdown of organic waste. Once the liquid manure system is working satisfactorily, proper use of Farm Odor Boss will be the best control for your livestock.
Farm Odor Boss has natural wetting and cleaning properties which can be put to good advantage in washing down furrowing crates, floors, and pens. Farm Odor Boss not only cleans, but it produces a surface that dirt, scum and organic matter will not cling to as easily.
Livestock drink large volumes of water and urinate large volumes of urea. This can cause ammonia and H2S gases to reach unbearable levels. Adding Farm Odor Boss to the drinking water will greatly reduce this odor problem while breaking down solid waste for easy handling.

CONTROL OF AMMONIA AND TANK SOLIDS (Water Line Injection Systems)
Mix 570 ml of Farm Odor Boss to desired mix ratio and inject into water line per 4000L of water flow. In problem systems where solids have built up, double the treatment for 2-6 weeks or until the crust is dissolved and desired odor level is achieved. Then resume normal treatment of 570 ml per 4000L of water flow.
WASH DOWNS
Trucks, barns, crates, work clothes etc. Add 570 ml of Farm Odor Boss per 1000 l of water flow. Soak down walls, crates etc., and let stand for 1/2 hour and wash down. Repeat again to present manure from sticking to pens and walls. For your work clothes, add 50 - 75 ml of Farm Odor Boss per load of wash.
PITS & GUTTERS (Manual Application Process)
Continual use of Farm Odor Boss will control odors and make solid handling easy (in the barn as well as in the lagoon). The use of 57 ml of Farm Odor Boss per 4000 l of pit capacity per week will control pit gases, odors and solids problems in average situations (conditions). If however, a problem exists, the following treatment is recommended; for every 4000 l of pit capacity, mix 570 ml of Farm Odor Boss in water and sprinkle or inject with a pressure pump into solids. Repeat once a week for 2-6 weeks or until desired results are obtained.
BROILER BEDS or LOFTING BARNS
Spray 570 ml per 100 m2 twice a week until odor and toxic emanations are reduced to a desired level. Continual use of Farm Odor Boss once a week will control odors and toxic emanations.
MANURE HOLDING PONDS & LAGOONS
Spray or inject 1350 ml of Farm Odor Boss per 100 m2 of surface once a week until crust is dissolved and desired odor level is achieved
