GENERAL INFORMATION
WAVEX is a flexible, concentrated non-toxic water colorant. It creates a beautiful natural appearance for lakes and ponds. This product is an excellent complement to the beauty of golf courses and park fountains and large aquariums.
CAUTION: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not take internally.
STATEMENT OF PRACTICAL TREATMENT
Do not use in water that is expected to be consumed by humans. WAVEX is safe for swimming after complete dispersal. Use WAVEX only in water bodies that have restricted flow.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Do not reuse empty container. Triple rinse and offer for recycling or disposal in accordance with local, provincial and federal regulations. Store above 0 oC to prevent freezing.
APPLICATION RATES
Apply 1 L of WAVEX per 250,000 gal.
A 4 L container will treat 1,000,000 gal of Water volume can be determined using the following formula: pond length in feet x pond width in feet x average depth in feet x 6.2495 = total gal .
RECOMMENDED RATES FOR SMALL WATER BODIES ADD ONE DROP FOR EACH GALLON OF WATER OR UNTIL COLOR MEETS SATISFACTION.
After calculating the water volume, pour the appropriate quantity of WAVEX along the edge of the lake or pond. WAVEX will diffuse evenly, dispersing with currents and normal water movement. To ensure diffusion throughout the entire lake or pond, pour small amounts of WAVEX at different points along the edge of the lake or pond or through an aerator, circulation or injection system, waterfall or fountain. Wear eye protection and rubber gloves, and carefully apply WAVEX directly to the water. WAVEX is safe to fish and aquatic species, waterfowl, wildlife and pets. It is a non-corrosive dye and when used according to recommended rates, will not stain stone, fountains, approved aquatic features or swimwear. WAVEX will stain rocks, decking and other porous surfaces if spilled or applied as a concentrate. WAVEX is a high quality aquatic dye that will be oxidized and degraded by chlorine, which will diminish dye concentration and lake or pond coloration.
In non-chlorinated systems or lakes and ponds, WAVEX is broken down gradually through biological and photo degradation. Coloration is also reduced through the natural process of dilution (i.e. addition of fresh water to the lake or pond). The original color level should be effective for 3-4 weeks, depending on the lake or pond system. Chlorinated systems typically require additional WAVEX within 2 weeks while biological and photo degradation is common within 4 weeks.
To return the beauty of the lake or pond color to its intended coloration level, simply add small amounts of WAVEX from time to time. This will offset the chlorination or natural bleaching that occurs in every dyed lake or pond environment. Do not use with filtration media that removes color.

Seller warrants that this product conforms to its chemical description and is reasonably fit for the purpose stated on the label when used in accordance with directions under normal conditions of use, but neither this warranty nor any other warranty of merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose, expressed or implied, extends to the use of this product contrary to label instructions, or under abnormal conditions, or under conditions not reasonably foreseeable to the seller, and the buyer assumes the risk or any such use.
